Dr. Monalisa Monwar Independent Director of Popular Life Insurance PLC. She is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow, Molecular Pathology Lab, Institute of Biological Sciences in University of Rajshahi. She worked as a Faculty in Pharmacy Department, University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), Dhaka. Before that she served the Department of Pharmacy, Varendra University, Rajshahi, as Head and Associate Professor. She earned first class in both B. Pharm (honours) and M. Pharm (Master's) from Department of Pharmacy University of Rajshahi. After that she achieved her PhD from Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi in Pharmacy. Moreover as a Chairman of ''The Mokhdum Foundation'' she is involving some of complementary and social services, such as conducting free medical support, funding for poor meritorious students and distribution of food and essential products among helpless people. Dr Monalisa was born in 13th December, 1985 in a reputed Muslim family in kushtia district of Bangladesh. She has several research articles in renowned international journals that have a great impact on pharmaceutical education, rational use and development of drugs and medicine. The Board of Directors of Popular Life Insurance PLC has appointed as one of its Independent Directors.
